I thought it was about time we introduced ourselves. We are 3 people from Cornwall on a wim and a prayer  decided that as much of what we talk about if sci-fi, comics and film that we should start recording it. Low and behold Cornish Sci-fi Supplement was born.

Preston.
I am your co-host through the merky realms of sci-fi on the podcast. My love of sci-fi was born out of my love for Star Trek many years ago when I was still knee high to a Grasshopper. Over the years its grown to encompass all things sci-fi and fantasy. Probably my all time favourites are Red Dwarf, Star Trek and Doctor Who.

I came quite late to comics, introduced to its seductive ways by Ben H. About 5 years ago and have been a keen reader ever since. My Favourite comics are mainly DC. Batman being my all time fav. Thats not to say I don't like Marvel as I have several on my pull list but I wont bore you with all of that.

Ben H.
I've been into comics and sci-fi from a very young age, I bought my first comic when I was 12 after reading the ones dad had given me when i was younger. Spider-man being my favourite (although i have Arachnophobia). He's a good hero and makes me want to make the world a better place. Ever since i learnt that with great power, must also come great responsiblity, I have tried to do this.

I also like 24, Prison Break, Scrubs, M.A.S.H, Smallville and my Favourite film is Back to the Future. I also have the most comics and invented 'Comics on the Bog'.

Ben D.
I started with Star Trek also into the world of science fiction. I liked what the federation stood for and its ideals. Then started watching other sci-fi shows and was hooked. I to started collecting comics later on mainly V1 Daredevil other titles include Fantastic Four, Spiderman and The Walking Dead.

Fav T.V shows: Spaced, Red Dwarf, Reaper, Chuck, Sarah Conner Chronicles, Heroes.

Fav films: National Lampoon's, Ghostbusters, Recent Superhero films way too many to mention actually!

Fav comics: Daredevil, Amazing Spiderman and The Walking Dead.

For those unfamiliar with me (which will be lots) I am the younger and only brother of Ben H. I got the creative, he got the maths skills. I like Benji H have been raised on decent comics, Prog Rock and Decent British comedy.

I also have a distinction grade City and Guilds Journalism degree, which needless to say will be useful here!

My job on the CSS staff will be interviews and reviews. The genres I will be covering are Manga, the movie, comics and much, much more.
Most of my critiquing prose will be done from my laptop Jadzia or my faithful work friend Mr ‘Back of unused till paper’.
I may work in retail, but my mind is elsewhere on greater things.

So see you on the ‘casts or on here reviewing.

I'm an English With Media Studies graduate from UCF.  So along with Tim, one of the few  people on here with some journalistic experience.  However, I'd say my love of science fiction in general, novels, western animation, anime, manga, graphic novels, movies and computer games are what best suit me to contributing to this site.

Currently I'm trying to become an established science fiction author and reviewer.  There are several things that I tend to be working on at any one time: finishing my novel; writing for here; writing my latest deviantArt journal; coming up with a short story for a competition; and just writing ideas down.  Despite getting up to all that, in the future I hope to be a regular contributor to this site.

I'm a final year Film Studies undergrad at UCF.  When I'm not thinking of script ideas for films or TV shows, or working on short films, I like to watch a good sc-fi series or play some computer games.

I would say that I am the site's Nintendo expert, but I don't exclusively play on their system or games.  As far as reviewing films goes... there's a reason why I didn't choose the film journalism unit in my second year: most film reviewers are arseholes.
